Trusk'our he/him
Why don’t the soulcasting radiants, like Jasnah, make tons of gold and other precious metals? I know if they did this in excess, it would likely crash the economy, but we don't hear of them doing this at all, not even in small amounts.
Okdes he/him
Why would they? Their economy isn't based on gold, and apart from it's use as decoration, their society has no use for it.

Gold would be more equivelent to glass in our world, pretty but very delicate. It's not used to back the economy.
LuckyJim
Only soulcasting polestones would potentially crash the economy, but it seems Soulcasters can't do that, so there's no way to create wealth (at least directly) through soulcasting.
Honorless he/him
Besides, they can Soulcast food and metals and even medicine, so they're getting supplies directly. They may not be literally making money but they sure are making the things that money would buy.
Legui01010 he/him
The center of the Rosharan economy is basically the gemstones, especially the infused ones (though those are priceless due to being the main and only fuel for all Radiants, except for the storms), so gold has no real value to them, and they're on the brink of a whole new and terrifying war with the Cosmere. In that situation, the last thing that would cross my mind would be to Soulcast gold.
Trusk'our he/him
I know that Roshar doesn't use gold as a way to mint coins, but surly, surly someone would want to buy some, I would think. I just can't wrap my head around it; I must just not understand economics well enough, I suppose.

What would you do with the money? You already control global trade and have taxation authority, and can make anything you need. Why sell gold?

Though, you do have a good point; it would probably be like adding a penny jar to a vault of cash.

The only reason we see gold as valuable is because we assigned it value. They assigned it to spheres. So gold is just any other shiny metal. Since it CAN be soulcasted, it probably has little real value It's not really useful as a resource unless it's being used currency Edited December 19, 2021 by Okdes
AquaRegia he/him
It's fascinating how many people in our culture think that the things we have arbitrarily assigned value to (gold, diamonds, etc,) must have INTRINSIC value. Gold has extremely low chemical reactivity, and is fairly rare on Earth; I don't see either of those factors mattering to anyone on Roshar. They might just as well Soulcast fat stacks of $100 bills. ;-)
Brgst13
They might need to Soulcast gold in the future. It will become more valuable for its fabrial effects. Would an Allomancer be able to use Soulcast gold? If yes this could set up some interesting team things. If no it could serve as a deception when facing an Allomancer.

No matter for Allomancer (or Feruchemist) from where metal comes, only if this metal have proper chemical structure.

A very interesting allegiance and a highly dangerous one that might already be in place, considering the Set, and Kelsier (Thaidakar) and the Ghostbloods. Maybe some of it will be revealed in The Lost Metal.
