The Almighty Courts... they had to have been forced to "give up" his ownership of the Clinic. This was Calano's Clinic. No one else's. Since Darles chickens had menaced him last, he'd spent long hours delving into the deep lore of chickenkilling, discovering all the weaknesses of his most reviled foe. And now he finally had an opportunity to put those skills to use.
