NerdyAarakocra They/Them
Unfortunatley, this meant that they were back to eating farmland, which is what caused the emu war in the first place.
Telrao she/her
Fortunately, the Australian Soldiers ended up not being able to kill them, and gave up.
NerdyAarakocra They/Them
Unfortunately, the emus were slighted by the Australian soldiers attempting to kill them and were out for blood. Worst-case scenario is that Voidus comes and is offended by us making fun of Australia. Edited November 1, 2022 by NerdyAarakocra

NerdyAarakocra They/Them
Fortunately, the Emu war hadn't happened yet and still wouldn't happen for quite a while.
Rabbit Unmade she/her
Unfortunately, half the emus starved.
Cinnamon
Fortunately, this meant when the emu war occured later the emu's forces were depleted.
Telrao she/her
Unfortunately, it meant the emus were extra angry, and figured out how to make guns.
The Halcyon Girl she/her
Fortunately, the guns shot backwards.
Cinnamon
Unfortunately the emus all held the backward shooting guns backwards so they shot forwards.
Telrao she/her
Fortunately, the backward shooting guns had their safeties on, which all the emus forgot about. So no one got hurt.
Cinnamon
Unfortunately, even though no one was hurt physically the emus and humans were both very hurt emotionally because they kept insulting each other. The ‘safety situation’ provided more ammunition for the humans’ war of words, and they called all the emus stupid, this made both parties very sad because the humans did not like being mean, and the emus did not like being called stupid.
Telrao she/her
Fortunately, because they were insulted, the emus never dared to wage war upon humanity again. And seeing how dejected and offended the emus were, some wildlife activists gave emus a lesson in corn farming, which was their favourite crop. Humanity, now seeing the emus as a civil and developed society (growing corn is MOST civilized) sent a formal apology to the emus for the humans' offensive comments, and gave the emus more materials to farm their corn with. Now the emus, now feeling like they are worth living in a normal society, have integrated with humanity, developing formulas for growing corn juicier, faster and tastier. The United Emu and Human Nations was formed, and now Australia is working on a peace treaty with dingos, kangaroos, and echidnas.
Cinnamon
Unfortunately, the possums, sugar gliders, bilbys, kookaburras and platypuses felt left out, and so another Aussie animal attack (triple A for short l) started. Telrao she/her
Fortunately, the UEHM had prepared by teaching the emus how to use their backwards firing guns, and so were able to fight back.
