It was terrifying, because I'd had my first cavity drilled a lil while before and I felt it, so I was convinced I was gonna feel the whole root canal and it would take hours and I was literally terrified. But the endodontist didn't mess around with the anesthesia, and I didn't feel any of it after the initial drilling (I'm guessing the cavity was just close to the nerve).
