JustQuestin2004 he/him
Right so a thought just hit me. Can pure Adhesion, a Full Lashing, work on gases? Like if you had a sheet of metal or whatever, then sprayed on a Lashing, then waved it around in the middle of some mist, would the mist get stuck to it and become water?
0 alder24
Are mists a gas? They are water molecules stuck to particles in air. I think you can do it with right intent or not, but it wouldn't do anything visible, as gases are too dissolved to catch a lot of molecules from it.
0 Quantus he/him
If that was the Radiant's Intent, possibly. But generally I think it ignores vapor and dust and those sorts of things that can be the bane of normal RL adhesives. The anti-humidity Fabrial Navani designed essentially does this, and seemed to act like a Reverse Lashing that was selective by Essences since she was afraid it would accidentally suck blood. When a Radiant does those it's a combination of Gravitation and Adhesion, but Surge Fabrials where supposed to be beyond her so it's presumably some adjacent effect that requires a lesser spren.
0 StanLemon
Considering it's the Surge of vacuum and pressure and that Windrunners have some kind of ability to sculpt the air I'd say that it's safe to say yes
