Lift's bird is almost certainly an Aviar but we do not currently know what ability it has. Regading the Elantrian at the Lighthouse, this is Riino; the Elantrian that Raoden and Galladon put into Devotion's perpendicularity in Elantris. He is doing work for the IRE in Roshar.

I like to think Lift's bird will share with her the ability to see spren. If for no other reason than me wanting the bird to be able to see Windle so that they end up competing for Lift's attention.

Wyndle can just show itself to the bird. And I think he is already doing that, RoW ch 116:

“My lunch is gone,” Dalinar said. “So I’d say she’s doing fine. We found her spren once the tower was restored, and they have—for some reason—decided to begin carrying around a bright red chicken."

correct me if I'm wrong, but the bright red chicken is different from the green one, right?

The Green Aviar belongs to Mraize, the Red one belonged to the unnamed likely-Terris likely-worldhopper that Mraize killed. RoW Spoilers:

Spoiler

Ch 13:

Quote

He held up his arm as the chicken returned, fluttering its wings as it landed, its talons clutching his coat. The chicken was one of the strangest varieties Veil had ever seen, with that large hooked beak and those bright green feathers. It carried something in its mouth, a small furry creature. It could have been a rat, but the look was wrong.

“What is that?” Veil asked. “What did it catch?”

“A mole,” Mraize said.

“A what?”

“Like a rat, but different. You know the word, ‘mole’? An informant? Comes from these creatures, which live in Shinovar and dig into places they’re not wanted. They’ve made their way across Azir over the centuries, then into the mountains.”

“Whatever,” Veil said.

Interlude 5

Quote

The red chicken barely dodged another attack in the sky before darting in toward a balcony above and vanishing from her sight. The green chicken rounded, and she got a good look at it. Wicked talons, a sharp knifelike beak. She’d always thought chickens looked silly, but this one was different.
