Mike scrunched his eyebrow. "I don't know. I've never heard of this happening to someone before."

"Should we... I don't know, go look at the area? Be careful of falling, of course, but maybe check it out and see what we can learn?"

A portal appeared near them. Pablo waves from his house,then the portal started to close.

I don't know how tolerant this RP is supposed to be, but generally going for a full plot derailment first thing isn't the best idea...

Anyway, you might want to do something with the other group, since we're kind of in the middle of something and they don't have much to do.

"I don't know...I feel like our best bet is to reunite with the group and figure it out from there. They're probably super worried about us."

A stranger approaches the camp fire and Thorn uses air to slap Wren awake with a rock.

"A intruder approaches," she signs, a grin hidden behind her eyes.

@Edema Rue

WOAH I'M RELEVANT HERE AGAIN

Wren nods, not a hint of annoyance in his eyes, and signs back, Shall we go meet them?

Thorn nodded and stalked out to meet the woman, knives poised to strike.

The distant woman merely waited in the edges of the shadows.

"Who are you," demanded Thorn.

The woman chuckled, "no one of import. I have merely come to claim what is mine."

Wren cocked his head. "Nope."
