Eddie blinked once, then ran forward and gave her a hug. "Hi, mom" she said into her shoulder.

Her mom squeezed her tightly.

"Oh, my darling little girl. Mommies got you now."

Richard stares into darkness. then he opens his eyes. and is assaulted by a sight of snow, trees and a frozen lake. he breathes, his eyes widening at the beautiful sight, watching the snowflakes fall around him. one lands on his head. it tickled. this... this was new. he shouts out "HELLO"

Eddie let herself be held. "Mom, Lils was...weird. And then...something happened, and I don't remember what, but I think I tried to burn down an inn?"

You could do what I do in TLT and show up once every few dozen pages with a chicken!

i dont think that would work very well in an RP. it doesn't work too well in TLT, and that is the least RPy as RPs get

"Oh Eddie. I'm here now. What exactly happened?"

Her mom continues to just hold her daughter.

Richard takes a step forward. the snow crunches beneath him. he moves deliberately. He is almost like a shadow, a ghost you see out of the corner of your eye, but when you look, its gone. he goes down into a gorge. he follows it, and follows it, and follows it until he sees two people in front of him. One is holding the other. its a nice scene. he hangs back at first, then moves forward, clears his throat. "uh... hi?"

Erin hesitated for a moment, then grabbed a nearby rock and started pounding at the ice above the glow. They figured it wouldn't be too thick after only a few hours.

@Ookla the Shadowed

Cracks begin to form in the ice as it creaks beneath the pressure. Water slowly begins to creep through the cracks.

A hole finally forms as the ice is separated. The glow is more visible through the water, and there is a silhouette of some type of figure at the bottom of the river.

Erin tried to get a closer look at the figure, but was also wary of falling in. This time there was no one to help them.

"Okay." Aster accepted the hand.

Lilyana blushed but calmed it down. "So where do you want to search first?

Eddie trembled. “I don’t either.”

Her mom just hugged her tightly back.

The figure seemed to be attached to the river bottom in some way, as it was constantly tugged by the flow of the frozen water. The glow seemed to be coming from the ground beneath the figure.

They can't tell it's him?

They tried to search for something to use to go down without being dragged away.
