"I know," Rue said calmly. "I know it's strange. But I'm not going to hurt you. And..." she dug around in her pocket, eventually finding a few copper coins. "I'll give you these if you tell me about this place." I need to give her a better reason to trust me...but for now, just getting her to stay will work.
