Because, admit it, you like being happy. And we all like making you feel happy. Because you make all of us feel happy.

I used too many italics.

I don't know if I do like being happy.

Happy is different, and I don't like different.

I don't like change and unhappy is what I'm used to.

And is happy more than a passing feeling?

Does it have substance?

Or is it just a feeling?

...

This has been Philosophy with Stick

Tune in next time for who knows what else

But what if you got used to be happy?

And if you don't like being happy, and prefer staying unhappy, does that means that being happy makes you unhappy and being unhappy makes you happy?

Is unhappy more than a passing feeling?

Does it have a substance?

Spoiler

I am now getting into philosophical debates on the nature of happiness and unhappiness, on a Brandon Sanderson fansite of all places, at midnight, within 48h of an important exam.

Nothing to see here. I am a perfectly balanced and rational individual.

How can I get used to being happy, when there is so much that makes me sad?

It's not that I don't like being happy, it's just that, whenever I am happy, I can't enjoy it because I know it won't last. Because I'm a pessimist. A pessimist borne of experiences.

Is unhappy a lifestyle?

Can it have substance apart from the one who feels it?

Does it need to?

And what is a feeling, other than a certain mix of chemicals in the brain?

I have over five thousand of those.

Also, there are 27 persons just in this thread who say you make them happy by just existing. You can deny it all you want, you're a really sweet and fun and good person. And we love you, and you deserve it.
