The Gambler slid back, just slightly, away from the table. He slides three chips to the center of the table, each embossed with a silver goblet of glowing spheres.

He rubs his eyes a bit, then blinks several times, sticking his hand out again. “I’m Tondon.” Regardless of whether or not Jaksyn takes it, Tondon then kneels down to stuff his box with vines and spores, and gets his makeshift weapons belt. “Do you know any knots? I used to think knots were easy but then my vine stick fell apart, so I guess they’re not. Do you know if we can eat these things? I haven’t had anything to eat yet. And I still don’t have iron either.”
