Also, I’ll mention, they’re all on the center platform now. I’m not on the PM, but someone can probably add you if you want.

Mark turns to Dougella and asks: "Did you mention a way out? Or am I going insane?" More insane.

Dougella, HG Arena

Dougella glances at Mark, and in turn to Astra, feeling a pang of guilt for having abandoned them for a casino. For a bet. But one that paid off. She glances at her spren, "You have changed since then" In just a few short days she laughs to herself. "Yes, I can probably get us out of here, but I need everyone together, to get us into the other world"

Mark glances at Astra. "I haven't changed. I died. But not me. The Killer. The Killer is dead. And what's left is what i've always been."

Dougella, HG Arena

'Just in the same area I believe" she says looking at her guide again. Pigment nods, and shifts to a bigger size, to be a bit more visible to everyone else. "We can access Shadesmare through the use of the Surge of Transportation" he nods at Astra as well, and at Mark. "I can sense that you have investiture in your pocket" he nods to the latter, and turns to the other, "My partner here, is not used to thi yet, so you may be able to help her"

Remember, Pigment will be viewable by all, as inkspren cannot go invisible

"Really? Neat, hows that? Must be nice, getting to see the action up close." Sharlin pulled out an apple and took a large bite out of it. She liked eating, so she did it a lot. Growing girls needed nutrients, and junk.

HG Arena:

Sharp glanced around. "So . . . then plan is to move everyone into another dimension (cognitive?), what do we do once we're there? Can we get out of the arena from there?"

What exactly is the plan here? If we got out with Dougella, then there's no reason for Tinker's village to 'break' us out. Should we start the break in before she moves us?

@The Bookwyrm

GM HQ:

Sharanna rose from inspecting the now dead body of one of her soldiers, to study the rest of the hall. The once grand entrance to the game makers headquarters was now in shambles, debris all over the floor and dust floated through the air. The first aid station was overwhelmed with captured and wounder peacemakers and her own men, and gang makers alike.

The night didn't help the look of things. Shadows turned piles of rubble into lurking peacemakers in the corner of her eye, and the few corpses on the ground seemed to multiply in the dark.

No matter, she thought to herself. Best not to dwell on the nightmarishness of her surroundings. There was worse to be seen. Few had died in the grand scheme of things, but few deaths in one mind were many in another. This day would not be forgotten.

A soldier jogged up to her, explaining the state of things. Peacemakers were making a final push in one wing of the building, but there defeat was so overwhelming over else it seemed a hopeless effort. The officials and nobility in the building had locked themselves in a safe room in the basement, but they were all but captives.

Still, Sharanna refused to say they'd won the dat. Not yet. There was there was still too much to do.

The plan I had was to get them out through the cognitive however she is not very skilled, so they may just end stuck in the cognitive, or not going there at all. However the plan for the family to break them out is still working, and because continuity is all over the place, the family could appear, right now, or right before they are about to change into the cognitive.

Okay . . . So we just want to have the rebel force break into the arena right now? That would work

(We've already established that the stuff in the village were flashbacks and not current)

"Things weren't right there. This government... needless to say, it isn't perfect. I'm hoping it could get better."

Sharlin giggled. "Things ain't perfect no matter where you go, buddy." Her large, childish eyes squinted at him in the dusky light, a mischievous smile on her face.

"And if it were me, I'd choose my imperfect place to be the one with soft beds and fine dining." She shrugged. "If you're gonna walk through hell either way, might as well pick which corner, right?"

Sharlin's squint shifter closer to a glare. "One bucket of water won't put out lakes of brimstone."

She sighed and shrugged, feigning indifference. "Might as well just take what you can get, and leave it at that."

Maybe they can't access the cognitive realm in the arena for whatever reason, or the arena is blocked off in both realms so a rescue still needs to be staged.

Maybe it gets them to a place in the arena where they can actually be rescued, but not out of the arena as a whole.

As long as the assault can still happen.
