Here’s a poem (that I’m actually proud of) from a Creative Writing Assignment: Spoiler If you have a calculator A car A train A Skateboard Vehicles of various powers Sunglasses Bracelets Earrings Accessories for others A Pipe cleaner An anomaly Like me in a way Different from others Uncaring despite that I like people I don’t like others That’s how humans are, But Pipe cleaners? They don’t worry What people think Of them When they’re bent And twisted Cut in half And Frayed At their worst, They don’t care What people say About them When they’re Cut in half and frayed Twisted and Bent People should be More like Pipe Cleaners Then again Pipe Cleaners Don’t care about Those around them Unless they’re twisted around them Securing them Holding them together Holding them up But they cannot Support others at range, While humans can But Humans can also hurt Close and long range It is our most developed skill The crafting of weaponry Hurting others is not just physical but mental Deriding Insulting Name-calling Shaming All ways to hurt others If we could be More like Pipe cleaners If we could stop hurting others And support only those near us The world Would be different Better And maybe Some would stop feeling Like Anomalies Hope you guys like it Edited May 22 by WhyEverNot_8 Yes I know the title has nothing to do with it.
