What's something dark you quote in very mundane situations?

Something that in context of whatever you're quoting is horrible, but you just use it all the time, for example (ones I quote):

"See you in two weeks!"

Not really something I say, but my dad always calls my siblings and I 'the children of the corn.'

Y'all, I did not know what that meant until like, two years ago, and ever since I've been really concerned that he calls us that.
