Blaze1616 he/him
I got it after the Aerith hint, since I've never played FF7, and was scrolling expectantly for someone to get it. Oh well. Am I allowed to use major spoilers for something that's 7 years old? 'Cause it's a good-un... A man travels back in time to force his younger self to become something he wasn't. If not I'll post something else tomorrow.

Blaze1616 he/him
Is that from the Stay/Night series, not specifying which one? Because that sounds like it. That's actually a very good guess, but no, it was not what I was thinking of...even if it fits extremely well... Looper? Artemis Fowl, Time Paradoxon? No to both. Alfa he/him
Ah, darn, I almost know it, it's something with a plot in that book, how to overthrow the world or something. He works for CIA and because the book is so dangerous the Government is interested in deleting all it's knowledge or something. Half of this is wrong, know it only from hearsy.
