TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her
I buy most of my stuff at Walmart, but I have sensitivities to artificial additives, so there's a few things I need to get from places like Trader Joes. Of course, while I was there today, I learned that several of their items are cheaper than they are at Walmart, so that's where I'll go for those things.

I've always assumed that was a stock phrase, not an actual place. What else have people not told me?

Mistrunner
Got back from our first marching competition. We got straight ones. That's real good. We stopped by a little grocery store, and some people ended up with interesting purchases. A friend of mine got a half-gallon of apple juice and Nilla wafers. Someone had a bunch of bananas they were handing out. Another person almost bought a cheesecake. All in all, a satisfying trip. Sunbird she/her
@Briar King Did you need any magnification (binoculars, telescope, etc) in order to see the space stations and distinguish them from stars and other stuff in the sky?

I happened to be looking at that moment with binocs and when I realized what was going on I shouted out "whoa a satellite just passed by also!" And my old man who was looking naked eye said he saw that to. My ex, kids, & aunt also saw the Sat naked eye. MIR is as bright as Venus in the sunlight and it clips across the sky in about 2 mins so it's very easy to track eyes only.

Nashan’Elin he/him
My Gov teacher had everyone bring in cake today for extra credit to represent types of federalism (I don't really get it, but okay) and we're having a cake day and it is storming awesome! Also, I am rapidly losing focus as my sugar high goes on

I was playing Bartholomew the Baritone yesterday. Today I played Terence the Trombone. He's warming to me. Djarskublar he/him
I got a promotion at work! I got put on the quality assurance team at my job, so I can finally get something on my resumé that says I'm more than some schmuck who had one crap job. The pay isn't any better, and may actually be worse, but I get more hours now. But maybe in 6 months or a year I can go find a better job that pays well, rather than this decent job that pays poorly. I was only here because the place has high turnover for management, so I got the promotion in a year. I was honestly expecting six months.
