No. Because the Epics would curbstomp the demigods. I'm not trying to start another war; I'm just stating a fact. A handful of nervous teenagers versus several thousand angry, vengeful gods? I'm not against LGBT characters in fiction, but that twist was handled so poorly that it felt like a cheap way of making Nico more sympathetic to the audience. And the funny thing is, Nico was already sympathetic. He was my favorite from the moment he confronted Percy at the end of Titan's Curse. He only got some real action once or twice. Also the last Nico-Percy scene. That was completely unnecessary Riordan! Basically Heroes of Olympus felt like the last Hunger games movie.
