NottTheBrave he/him
Had a busy day so I didn't get to spend all of it reading like anticipated, but I have started Summer Knight, and am already nearly 200 pages in! I really liked Dreseden 1/2, but 3 and now 4 are just on another level so far for me. Really great stuff so far!

I liked 1 and 2 as well but I keep hearing 3 is when the series really hooks you so looking forward to it.
Briar King
There is a certain point in bk 3 where it just takes off. You will know it when you get there. 4 is all fun and the series remains so throughout up to Peace Talks for me. Battle Ground has been fun I just don’t like that it was split between the two books. Happy to give Butcher more $ don’t get me wrong but this really could have been 1 book even if a little larger then the typical Dresden book.

Cosfan4472
I am reading Doctor Who The War Machines. Read this plenty of times, but it is too good not to read again.
aneonfoxtribute
So I finished the climax of Turn Coat, and damnation. I still have the final chapter to go but wow, that was something. Spoiler Peabody's the traitor, Luccio was the killer, and Morgan is dead. Man. That death was something else.
aneonfoxtribute
Finished Turn Coat. That was quite good but Changes is next and I anticipate that to blow every other book out of the water. That starts Monday.
Briar King
May want to start sooner. It’s good.
Condensation she/her
I was going to visit the library, but it's apparently closed for maintenance. Therefore, I'm reading DRAGONSTEEL! Yes, Mist checked it out from the BYU Library. I love it! I've already read it a couple of times, but this time's even better.

jamesbondsmith He/him
Just finished Battle Ground (Dresden Files 17). Wasn't much of a fan of Peace Talks, but I did enjoy BG. Even if I'm tremendously salty about a certain event (if you've read it you can probably guess) Edited October 17, 2020 by jamesbondsmith
NottTheBrave he/him
Finished Summer Knight! Next three books in the series will be delivered tomorrow or Monday. Not sure what I'll dig into until then!

Turtle
My cousin got me into it when I was 10 and I liked it, but now I don't even remember half the stuff that happened. I think it was good, though I bet it didn't compare to SA. Currently reading the illuminate files and rereading Words of Radinance. Edited October 18, 2020 by eltruT My spelling is stunning. It stuns people because of how bad it is.

NottTheBrave he/him
Decided to go with Oathbringer to make sure I finish it before next month! Dresden's next adventure will have to wait a few extra days.
Briar King
Phew Battle Ground is getting good in the page 100+ range. The more of it I read the more pissed off I get though that the book was split. Thankfully we didn’t have to wait the old normal Butcher year for next one but you will still have an uphill battle convincing me this spilt was necessary.

Most Dresden books seem to go 1. Dresden is in way over his head 2. after several life threatening encounters and some investigation he works out the culprit 3. climactic fight against said culprit. Peace talks is basically steps 1 and 2, and Battle Ground is basically entirely step 3.
Spren of Kindness she/her
I just finished The Oath, by Frank Peretti, which is a Christian supernatural thriller. Probably not the best way to describe it, but it's the closest I can get. It's better than I thought, considering that I don't usually read thrillers. And I started Ivanhoe, am 200 pages in, and loving it.
