Something had to be done.

Moni, barely avoiding a burst of flame, agreed. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pen, writing 'the dragon lions stopped their violent attack on Moni, realizing she was actually a nice person."

Or at least she tried to. What she actually wrote was: 'the drg n ions upped the volent atk no Moni, realing he actuulu o nose pear.' Turns out it's really hard to write and dodge fire at the same time.

Bookwyrm, who had also gotten taken into the arena, was trying to figure out how to sabotage it and blow the whole thing up without hurting any of the narrators.

He was helped in his current plan by a friendly Selffalfrednahg and Found the Kitten.

Unfortunately, he kept having to fight battles, so he wasn't able to get much work done on his plan.

Nameless took this opportunity to stab Spook in the face.

Spook caught the sword using his armored shoulder. he smiled, "good try." he then tapped a button on his arm, a giant shield burst up, pushing Nameless back.

Nameless stepped backwards nimbly, wounds healing. "You know, if one of us doesn't die soon, the crowd's not going to be happy." Indeed, the crowd was very upset that the Narrators were not dying like they were supposed to.

Spook sighed, "how's your impression of death?"

Just now, Nameless said:

Nameless sighed, pretending to stumble on something and dropping his sword. "Just get it over with."

Spook smiled, he walked over to him, he struck him in the side with the flat part of his sword, he said dramatically, "with this first death I consecrate my rise into the gladiator ranks. time to die narrator." he stabbed the sword right into Nameless, in a spot that would kill most, but not narrators.

Nameless rolled his eyes, but 'died' quite convincingly.

Spook looked triumphant, the crowd cheered.

The crowd went wild with cheering. Spook had actually managed to kill a Narrator? At last the ultimate champion would have a worthy opponent.

Suddenly, Bookwyrm was thrown, quite violently and against his will, into the arena.

His first match was up against the Abomination, the ultimate champion.

"Oh, storms. I really don't want to do this." Bookwyrm summoned his Narrationblade, and his living Shardblade as a shield. He swallowed a vial of metals and sucked in a few spheres worth of stormlight. He kept a few magical incantations in the back of his mind, ready to use if needed.

But, all in all, he was mostly on the defense.

Spook smiled, he dismissed his blade and allowed the armorers to lead him away.

Abomination smiled, his withered armor sending up swirls of dark smoke. He was quite decked out. when the ghanderflaffles had come to him, he had been ready, he had asked politely if he they wanted a sponsor, of course they had agreed. now withergeists hung around the back of the arena, watching and guarding. Abomination stepped out into the arena, the crowd cheered heartily for their ultimate champion.

Abomination summoned his mordite blade drawing gasps and cheers from the crowd. "time to give them a show." he whispered.
