Shoe slowly turned around.

Behind him lay a huge, reptilian beast easily twenty feet tall; thankfully, it seemed to be sleeping. Unfortunately, that meant that it was still twenty feet high while it was sleeping. They did not want to wake that thing up.

Shoe frantically motioned for Nogard to be quiet.

Nogard gasped. "Dragon!" he exclaimed excitedly.

Shoe started to quietly run away from the maybe-dragon.

Because the walls were totally black, Nogard could not see the contours of the room. Fortunately, he was just able to catch Shoe vanishing around a corner. He followed with expedient haste, hoping that Shoe knew where they were going.

Shoe ran through the dark corridors, Nogard trailing behind.

The thing roared behind them.

"We need," Nogard panted, "To find. A path. Too small for it."

Just now, Through The Living Glass said:

Shoe stopped and looked around frantically.

There! Shoe pointed to a corridor a little ways away and ran.

Nogard stumbled slightly as the beast rounded a corridor behind him, snapping at his heels.

He dove through the narrow gap moments before the beast, nearly crashing into Shoe in the process.

Wit appeared on Nogard's back. Thanks for the piggy back ride! i found the clue as well, we should be clear to go now!

Nogard screamed, spun around, then landed flat on his back.

He stared upwards. "Oh," he said. "Just you." He closed his eyes and exhaled. Then he peeked one eye open. "The clue? Where was it?"

The hooded assassin screamed in anger. Somehow, two of the pesky adventures had avoided death. But still, a couple remained…

@Scars of Hathsin @Ancient Elantrian @NameIess.

The old man rapped his staff against the ceiling, then sat down cross-legged and closed his eyes. A force slammed against the ceiling, pushing as if several invisible pistons of incredible strength were shoving it upwards.

"Ah!" Woe gasped for breath for a minute then spoke. "It was on the wall of the cave that dropped on us."

The roof of the room stalled fore a moment the burst apart. the old man found himself in a hole, just below Nogard, Woe, and Shoe.

Woe relaxed as well. “The clue said this:

“Hidden deep in the forest of Kell, hidden deep where no one can tell, hidden deep where the highest have fell, hidden on high in the sky under well.

“I do wonder what it might mean, anyone have any ideas?”
