It aspired to one day be the longest thread on the peaceful kingdom called the 17th Shard. Time went on and it achieved its goal. But then rose another thread. It was small and meant for having fun without form and winning for just second. The transience of victory. But then someone decided that that thread - The Last Post Wins - deserves the title of Longest Thread. The Longest Threadians were outraged at the rebellion.
