Cassie's a Ghostblood (I forget if she'd gotten her tattoo yet, but we can probably say she delivered some of the spikes to them and got her tattoo in the gap before arriving at the hospital). Not really on anywhere in the ranks though.

Pretty sure it’s a reference to this. Basically TFA made him a leader of a particular ‘chapter’ section of the GBs, since Thaidakar made a GB thread without already realising we existed. Ergo, we sort of assimilated him and he’s the leader of his part. Or at least that’s what I understand, anyway.

that makes a lot more sense. so that would mean TFA is still the actual leader and I am just another random guy with my own puppet ghostbloods, NICE!

@Ashbringer So what do we do with Null and Cassie? Can I have him notice her in the waiting room or should I just continue with moving Null to the Spiritual wing? (It is where Sanax is, right? @18th Shard)

I believe he is in the Cognitive Ward, unless there is another one I don’t know about. But that’s where all the crazy people are

I had imagined Spiritual Ward because of the passive Voidmaking, but honestly he's broken in all realms.

I forget if Null was supposed to go with Cassie or not... and both of their savant damage is largely Spiritual. I'd be fine with them going together though. (Mainly I don't want to double post my RP).

... mainly I need to go back to figure out what they're actually trying to do. We can probably have them find Sanax somehow.

Null and Cassie were talking about going together, we never had them decide whether they were going to but in universe but out of universe we had decided they would

Oh yeah. Okay. I have... some level of idea as to how to get Cassie to the Cognitive Ward, as she may attempt to lock her consciousness to her body if the savantism goes too far. (Which it pretty much is - hence a very large part of her body showing up as metal with her iron scan.)

I can edit that in somewhat soon.

Sanax is in the Cognitive Ward, yeah. Emily, my nurse character, is also there and she knows Sanax pretty well. Her last post she was checking Poller out with Folorian there, but I can wrap that up if wanted. @mathiau

Yeah, we can shelve Poller for now. I’m also not sure… @ZincAboutIt, do you have any idea if the DA would react to someone being hospitalized with pre-Forged-memory symptoms? Because that’s part of why I’m wondering what would happen to him.

But yeah, if you want Folorian to go off on his own / with Emily then go ahead.

The DA would definitely be interested once they found out, yeah. Especially if they are remembering their other life.

The sacrifices we make for the greater good of the plot.
She'll be passing what she remembers of her conversation to Lita which might give us a way to restumble onto the truth. But I figured that given this is the entire centre of the forgery that at least some of that conversation is very rapidly forgotten.

Also, ahhhhhhhh! So happy to be writing again and being able to read everyone else's lovely RP as well

I had the exact same reaction.  I appreciate the adherence to the plot line in spite of the torture you are causing us, @Voidus.

Wait, the Forgery can still make memory of the previous world disappear? It was not a one time thing?

I have no idea whether Null should be affected by that. He was affected by the Forgery because Shard level powers can affect aluminium (and because he sometimes stops burning) but these seem weaker, otherwise we wouldn't need the monsters. Obviously he should be affected when not burning aluminium but I'm not sure as for when he's burning it.

One thing: Cassie and Byron are both largely unaffected by the Forgery, on account of arriving in the Alleyverse after its creation. (Byron is somewhat affected due to spending far longer in the Alleys than he should have, but I’m sort of scrapping the idea of him getting different memories/powers as he’s strong enough on his own).

Also… Cassie’s savantism has progressed. A lot. I don’t know what the endgame for a Soulcaster Savant really is, especially one more material than Kaza, but truth be told she doesn’t know either. So she’s worried.

She’s wondering if she could trap her consiousness within a gemstone, and have that let her survive a complete transformation into a metal woman. I’d have to figure out how it would change her character sheet, but it shouldn’t be too different. Most likely just +stronger, -slower or something.

Plus it gives her a reason to venture to the Cognitive Ward and find the plot a little more.

Any thoughts? It’ll probably actually happen as the Arc/Era shifts, but it’s a decent progression.
