We made ammonia in chem last school year. My nose is sensitive, but my brain says "It's not a problem if we can't smell it," so I become noseblind to almost anything within 5 minutes. Don't know if this is a blessing or a curse. On one hand, can make it through the lab without smelling the bad things.
