Stormlight's a good series, to be sure. I would counsel avoidance of the other forums, though, until you've read the rest. Spoilers everywhere, often with no warning. It’s currently a standalone, and there a lot of connections between it and the Stormlight Archive! Fair enough. You'll still want to be thinking, though. If you want another full series, Mistborn is very good (and is also many people's introduction to the cosmere, including mine), but if you want to start connecting stuff between the larger cosmere and Stormlight, Warbreaker is a good choice.
