One of my friends just gave me the date of her farewell...it feels so surreal. Like, I have other friends who are on missions, but not any that I'm really close with. It's so scary that we really are all just growing up so fast...I'm super excited for her but it's still so crazy to me.

That’s so cool. Congratulations. My sister is in the MTC right now, and it’s so weird that she isn’t here to make fun of me.

Oooooo. I went to the Philly temple open house way back when.

It's not as cool as Anaheim though. I'm not biased. At all.

Beautiful temple!  I used to be a temple worker there, as I was living in the area back when the temple opened.

If you've never been a temple worker, you really have no idea how much stuff is going on behind the scenes to make all the work run smoothly!

Someday I'll do that.

Eventually.

My local temple closed for some work shortly after I was endowed and won't open again till after I begin my mission or I would do that before I leave. Luckily I can still go do sessions of various ordinances at other temples!

How great is Utah, that the nearby temple can close, and it’s not that big a deal?

sorry to all those who don’t live in Utah. It’s pretty great here

I literally have a temple ten minutes away in every direction.

That moment when you're driving on a hill and you can see four temples.

That moment when you're driving on a bigger hill and can see six.

When you have to debate with friends which temple you should go to.

Utahns. So privileged.

Nothing beats Provo itself--the temple's closed for construction? No big deal, just go to the other one in the same city

I’m dying laughing right now😂.

Its because all these scenarios have happened.
