The silence under the water was amazing, he could almost hear his own heart. So easy to think down here. Unfortunately it was time. He began to swim upwards and away from the ship.

As the captain dove straight down, he couldn't find where the man had gone. He shouldn't have sunk that far. The captain spent an alarming amount of time beneath the waves before coming back up, being sure that he wouldn't hit the ship. When he came up, the masked man had prepared a way for them to get anyone out of the water, but only the captain returned aboard. He spoke between gasps for breath, "gone, I'm not sure where he is. Can't find him."

The masked man turned to Cadenza. "You're sure it was your friend, Lloyd?"

He surfaced far away from the ship, he got further away every second. Who knew he was such a good swimmer. He kept swimming away from the ship.

I have to go to sleep now, just assume he keeps getting further away every time you post.

Aryanna stares out along the water, searching for Lloyd. "Come back," she says quietly.

At which point do you guys want to get attacked by not-Janice? I'm particularly looking forward to breaking Cadenza's heart and possibly Jay's pride.

I don't really care.

Jay looks at Aryanna. "Get below deck"

Aryanna shakes her head.

"Yeah." Trace said. "I did."

She whipped out a dagger and hurled it at Jay.

"Duck!"

Just now, Ookla the Grammatical said:

Cadenza sent it off course with a sheet of ice that appeared in front of him suddenly. "What are you doing?"

"I told you, something's wrong with her."

Trace ran forwards, pulling out another dagger and jumping towards Cadenza. Janice's body wasn't built for stunts; but that didn't mean Trace couldn't pull them off. She kicked Cadenza hard in the chest, throwing her to the floor.

She slid on some of Cadenza's ice, sliding behind the sheet and throwing another dagger. She ran for Aryanna.
