To explain things, you don't have to use emotions like that, it's just that a lot of people have chosen that. For instance, Jay absorbs force and can redirect it. I have other characters that absorb light or heat. Trace is quite the zealot, isn't she? We're coming up on the coast now... Fish, love the story. Keep it up. Jay finished a call on his Scry and looked out over the ship's rails. The mainland was close.
