One of the guards eyed him. "We're not boring, it's just that we refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent."

OOOOOHHHHHH, shots fired

"He was wearing red. Carried some kind of hard projectile weapon, not Qhoralic cartridges. Had two lackeys with him. Honestly I feel like the wings are kind of a distinguishing feature."

Quin grimaced. "The wings are newer Talon technology, they won't indicate who attacked the train. The red is the biggest giveaway here."

The man stayed silent, ignoring him.

Quin looked up. "Curse? What are you talking about?"

Quin stared at Cadenza, and Janice. "What curse are you guys referring to?"

Cadenza looked down.

"All right, is there anything else you can tell me? What was he wearing? Did he exhibit any aspect? Did he say anything to you, and if so what did he say?"

Cadenza looked off into space, lost in thought.

“I’m not unarmed” Lloyd says holding up his daggers “I’m not even bound anymore. Anyone up for some poker?” Lloyd holds up a deck of cards.

<_<, I don't really find this funny... And for that matter, your character wouldn't be able to untie himself...

Well the daggers helped, and it wasn’t supposed to be a funny thing for you.

His hands were bound even if he had daggers, he wouldn't be able to reach them.

Quote

He was tense when you tied his hands, you didn’t kick him in the stomach so he was able to flex, this provided more room for him to move his hands around and even slip out.

Spoiler

Don’t doubt the magic.

Wind, stop being OP. Fish, stop complaining. Plot, continue!

But, but...*looks at Fadran’s stern expression* Fine.

Spoiler

*Pouty face*

Lloyd looks at the soldiers tiny brains being overwhelmed by the complex concept of untied bonds, he slips his hands back into the bonds and holds up the playing cards with two bound feet.

Janice shivers on the copter, keeping her bare arms folded across her chest. She longed to put on her cloak, but she had forgotten it back at the wreck site in the confusion.

Yes, I know that I said she pulled her hood down earlier, so... just ignore that.

Thank you!

Cadenza looked over at Janice, who looked cold. Sadly, Cadenza didn't have much experience with that, and she didn't think she had a way to fix it.

Jay awkwardly takes off his jacket (because he still can't sit up, really) and hands it to Janice.

That’s me during winter too!

Lloyd clears his throat, “Poker?!” if they couldn’t understand him now, they were as “silent” as their leader.
