For most of the homeschooling in my house, there was a checklist of seven or eight things that we just had to get done and then we were finished. Now the system's different. There's the main things - music practices and scripture reading - then there's three school things, pick two - writing, math, science - then you have two exploratory things - history, sustained silent reading, spelling, etc. Now I'm in public school. I do my work more. Homeschooling's better IMO. When I was homeschooled, I already knew all the people and didn't have to talk to new people. New people are scary.
