POKEMON

Recommended Posts

You know, I think that Mega Evolution might be my favorite mechanic so far, though I haven't played the last couple generations (unless BDSM count) I think it's the most creative mechanic, and I really liked the designs in a way that G-maxing just didn't do for me.

However, competitively, perhaps the new mechanic is best. In that case I feel that Megas come in second for that category.

just wondering, 1000 lions vs one of every pokemon?

who wins?

Oh boy, @dannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnex want to participate in this one?

The answer is pokemon, there just is no alternative. Helping hand from every pokemon that can use it plus Choice specs Kyogre's waterspout OHKO's all of the lions, Wolfe actually ran a calculation on it.

There's an event in heartgold and soul silver where Arceus just creates a Palkia, Dialga or Giratina for you.

Primal Groudon could actually just kill all the lions simply by existing, as could any pokemon with Snow Warning as Lions cannot tolerate such heat/cold.

ok well only 1000 then yeah obviously pokemon would win. pokemon actually outnumber the lions in that scenario which is ridiculously uneven.

1000000000 lions though

is a lot of lions

Oh my gosh.

93% voted to ban Calyrex Shadow.

That's insane.

Not that surprising IMO. It was borderline broken last gen, with it's main problem being a lack of a good way to hit Dark-types, along with that nasty 4x weakness to Dark. Tera Fairy or Tera Fighting + Terablast solves both of those problems quite handily.

I dunno'

some fakemon from fan games are on the competitive website, with full movesets and stats, although their not in official tournaments.

Stats for a new pokemon :

KALADIN STORMBLESSED

Attack : 120

Sp attack : 70

Defense : 80

Sp defense : 95

Speed : 160

Hp : 110

Total : 635

Thought of this in class today, also invented some signatur knight radiant moves and an ability :

Ability : Stormlight holding : When stormlight is activated, the pokemon recovers 1/4 hp each turn. they also get a 1.3x boost to attack and speed.

Move : Inhale light : for four turns the stormlight holding ability is active.

What’s that??

Competitive Singles usage chart, it's showing which Pokemon moved between which tiers of competitive play. And Meganium has been notoriously bad in even the bottom tiers since Gen 5, while Terrakion has been a staple in one of the two highest tiers (OU, or OverUsed, or UU, standing for UnderUsed) since it came out.

I'm sad they rose Flutter Mane's tier, since it was a staple of all my OU teams. Really annoying, since having that coverage was insane along with the speed?

I switched it for regieleki w/ light clay and screens, but it doesn't work as good for the team.
