  1. Does oboe count? I just play a flute part without the very high notes most of the time.
  2. I be doing the good, tho the closeted agender vibes sometimes bite me.
  3. I can understand your need for characters being traumatized. I actually love those parts of the book! If you want some of that, I suggest you to the stormlight archive. *pats roof of stormlight archive* this bad boy can fit so much trauma Anyway, I feel ya with the lack of wax trauma. It honestly should have been a bit more sad. But the bleeder twist was one hell of a twist!

Well, I love this theory! What makes it better is that the name of the fourth wax and Wayne book is the lost metal! I’ve wondered what that could be, but this explains it! I wish I could give you two upvotes, I could.
  5. Is the word I mentioned too much? Should I edit it to be some Brando curse? Or is it fine? It fits the emotional levels I want shown, but it is not necessary for the post.
  6. I listened to it and holy crap you’re right. Also, what’s the profanity rules for 17th shard? And what counts as profanity?
  7. So I like Panic! at The Disco and was listening to victorious, and heard this lyric: I'm a killing spree in white, eyes like broken Christmas lights My touch is black and poisonous And nothing like my punch-drunk kissI know you need it, do you feel it? Drink the water, drink the wine Oh we gotta turn up the crazy Livin' like a washed up celebrity Shooting fireworks like it's the fourth of July Until we feel alright Until we feel alright this Seemed to be a pretty good fitting for a certain character in stormlight. Are there other lyrics that are reminiscent of any of Brando’s books?
  8. So, sorta. It’s complex. The god metals would have to be consciously made by the shard, and probably through fairly complicated means. But overall, yeah.
  9. Welcome, @The Windrunner Supreme! If you were to use your windrunner abilities to be the silliest windrunner in existence, what would you do?
  10. Tin, my friend. heightened senses is SO useful in a fight, as well as on a daily basis. F-tin is even better. You can store senses you don’t want, as well as storing secret stuff, such as steel-sight, atium, electrum, and gold shadows, and bronze sense. That is crazy! Not to mention that you can reverse compound pewter as well. That makes half of any allomantic metals reverse compoundable with tin.
  11. @McWafy,Think you might have posted twice, friend.
  12. Welcome! If you were to bestow an ability to a chicken-er-parrot, what would it be?
  13. Hello! If you had a character that you wished would be made of jelly, which one would it be? odd one, I know, but unexpected, right?
  14. Welcome to the shard! If you were to invest anything, what would you invest?
  15. Well, it could give a gigantic pulse to a bronze-burner, depending on how duralumin works.
  16. Hey you want a cookie! They’re the good type! anyway, welcome to the shard! What books have you read? You should get call to adventure: stormlight edition! which character do you think would most likely accept a suspicious cookie and consume it without thinking?
  17. Oh you use the edit tool on the original post, then at the top, there is a content section. You click that and you are presented the poll option. Then you click poll and make the poll. hope this is helpful.
  18. Hello! Welcome to the shard! Which stormlight character would you want to duel fork-to-fork with lift?
  19. Hello! Welcome to the shard! There isn’t many bondsmiths on the shard. If you were to create a perpendicularity in the most inconvenient place possible in all of Roshar?
  20. I’d love to see an awakened silly judge wig that the British have, and it’s just sitting on the judge’s head and smacks the hammer thing down while the judge isn’t looking.
  21. I thought about it as like the lop’s dagger from wakfu ; rubilax. I watched that first, the read the books, and he just reminded me so much of rubilax. Kinda demonish, like that typical demon voice in sketches and stuff, but overall friendly demeanor; for a murder sword.
  22. I believe it’s pronounced aytee indtead of ahtee, like the shard, of that makes sense. But yeah, just coincidence.
  23. So I’m going to be leading a game of mistborn adventure game with my family. Is there any tips for doing things? I think I have the basics of storytelling done, such as having good, 3d characters and not forcing people along a path, but I have never been a DM. I’m fairly bad a voice acting, but I think that’s fine for a family setting. one of the players are thinking of being secretly a Kandra. I’m going to give them the stats of someone with no powers because that is what the group sees them as, but secretly they have average powers in addition to average and strong stats. I think that will work. I also am a “member” of the crew with a character that doesn’t fight, but gives recourses and has contacts. Is that a good idea? I can use him as a tool to assist the plot, but I dunno. I’m thinking maybe giving him items might be a bad idea, given that it gives advantages to the group? But I do have someone built to mess with the plot, so maybe that evens it out? Should there be an in-game reason for him to mess with things? Maybe he’s a member of a third party trying to lead the group off course? I honestly don’t know. also this might not be the right forum to ask this. If it isn’t, could the mods move it to the right one?
  24. We should have a poll on this post for your voice part! That way we can know things!
  25. I personally thought that in the fourth book, Kaladin was the only character I was actually interested in reading. In the second book, I quite liked how there were deep, terrible secrets that Shallan has. That was fun to watch. Her thoughts of class makes sense for the character, I’m just a bit less into it. I personally think shallan’s lines are hilarious. “I am offend. Boots.” Poor Kaladin got humiliated by a hot eater queen that wasn’t even a horneater queen. There was also the whole conversation with Adolin “ah! out!” ”you invited me in!” ”I thought you were someone else! Your knock sounded feminine! Did you knock with one or two hands!” I knocked with one hand! I was holding food! Who knocks with two hands?” that was fantastic. I also like the dynamic she has with Jasnah. Her radiantness all of a sudden not mattering is great. I also liked her trauma in OB. That whole book was just everyone being traumatized for 1400 pages. I understand that some of the stuff would fall flat for some, though.
