Lilyana hurt at this but she hid it. "My power, me dying, me loving you?"

Lilyana hugged her tighter. "At least for me, I've hurt less coming to know and love you, Lady. You may lose us but by allowing us to lose ourselves for you, you'll find us again."

Lilyana gently removed herself from Eddie’s hug and wrapped her in her arms instead. "It's okay to be afraid, Lady. What is it exactly that you're afraid of right now?"

"Afraid of what, Lady? I'm listening."

Lilyana shook her head, "leaving you isn’t an option. I won't leave you to die alone. Even if it just ends up being the two of us. I just wish we could rest, both of us together."

She closed her eyes. "Do you ever think we'll be able to rest?"

"Thank you'" she whispered, melting into the hug. "Thank you, Lady."

She breathed out deeply, "thanks Eddie. Just...just thank you."

The ice thawed around Lilyana and she shook her head, shaking off the thoughts. "Thank you, Lady. I...I lost control and one got to me." She looked down tears in her eyes, "I'm sorry. I have failed you." And she just cried in Eddie’s arms. @Edema Rue

She turned to look at Eddie, her expression still hard. "What is it Lady?" She bit off.

This failed to break her concentration and the temperature dropped even lower. The ice grew around Lilyana to make her look like a cruel Queen of the Tundra.
