  1. Sharpo follows. "Do you think you can be friends in the end?"
  2. "At least he's still alive . . . and he doesn't look too hurt." Sharp'i sighs. "I wish I could be there to help him."
  3. Sharpo peaks out from behind him. "The birds are cute."
  4. "Maybe they didn't hear you," Sharpo whispered, "Are you sure they're here?" @Weaver of Lights (I apologize if you're getting spammed).
  5. The screen lights up, and is already on the right channel because whatever. On the screen it shows Sharpo holding a bag, a little bloody in few places. He was standing next to an older looking boy who was . . . yelling at nothing. They stood in the snow waiting for something.
  6. "Yeah that might be best." His voice was a little shaky. He had never watched a Game from the outside. Deep down he was a little curious what it looked like.
  7. Sharp'i sat in the only room in the house that had a TV, it was an old model, but worked alright. It wasn't on. He sat staring at the black screen, willing himself to turn it on. He had thought that if he watched some, just to check on Sharpo, then he would worry less. But now he was scared Sharpo wouldn't be there--that he was already gone.
  8. "So . . . that's it?" Sharp asked, "We're good now?" Everyone in the room nodded. "Well, that's a relief," Sharvil said, standing "Now I can go take a nap." It says a lot, that the three of them could move on from something like this so quickly. No one here was unused to hatred and murder.
  9. "Really? That's so nice! Don't worry, I won't interfere if you don't want me too."
  10. "I don't think it works like that . . . I'm okay if you kill me, I just think it'll make you sad."
  11. "But then you'll have to kill me too :("
  12. "So . . . I'll just let them kill me, okay? Then everyone will be happy!"
  13. Penn nods, pretending he knows who that is.
  14. "No . . . I don't think he knew their names."
  15. "Shar'i's not naive . . . he's done it a lot I think, the killing thing, but it made him really sad and he didn't want me to be sad too."
