". . . I'm turning in." Sharp said after watching it bound away. He wasn't really sure if he should've said something more comforting. He hated coming off as cold, but at the same time he had no idea what to say. "You should too, it's been a long day."

Sorry, I know a bunch of people have mentioned me in several different places, I'll get to it. My mental health's kinda been in the dumps the past few days, and I'm having a hard time finding the emotional energy
.
That being said, It's kinda absolutely my fault because being chronically online isn't good for you, turns out. I did eat a salad for lunch though, which is a win (It's not my fault people keep gifting my family sheet cake for one reason or another . . . But I guess I am the one eating it lol).
I'm gonna try and will myself away from the computer later to do something healthy, like maybe taking a walk or something, but for now I've gotta babysit my brother. Anyway, gonna try and go reply to the rp's now.

"It isn't." Sharp said, his voice suddenly growing hard. Whatever it was, it faded quickly. ". . . I guess if you really don't want to kill it you could let it go? I'm not sure you'll be able to ride."

Sharp frowns, eyes opening again to look at her. "That is not true," He mumbled.

"You certainly act insane," He mumbled with a smirk. But he was too tired to really commit to the joke. "I . . . don't think I've changed. I expected too--I expected to panic, or loose my mind and become a murder machine or maybe something would click inside of me and I'd know exactly what to do. But I didn't. I'm still me." Sharp hugged his knees to his chest. He'd only known Dougella for a day, but it was nice to have someone to talk to. He closed his eyes. "The fact that I'm still me in here, is far scarier than any change."

Sharp looked away. He got her point, he really did. He just wished it applied to him. "I . . . I'm sorry you feel that way. I chose this, I knew I'd be here someday. So I guess . . . I don't feel as trapped."

"Yes," She avoided looking him in the eye. "I've had quite enough of that sort of thing in my life already . . ."

Sharp sits down next to her, picking at the fire he built. He didn't seem to notice her mumbling or her tears.

"No thanks," She says waving her hands. "I'm not particularly interested."

Sharp sighs, giving in for now. "I suppose we'll just stay here?" He got up and started collecting sticks to make a campfire with. "This is what I'm talking about," He mumbles dropping his bundle of sticks on the ground a few yards away. He crouches down and starts setting up the firewood properly.
