Twisted and tangled into each other, vines reached down from the trees and underbrush pushed upward. Out of the corner of your eye, you swear you can see the vines move slowly--but when you glance in that direction it stops. Night has also completely fallen, and any moonlight or starlight is blocked by the trees. Kurtis had been distracted with the conversation, but it was nearly pitch-black now. He pulled a match-box out of his pack and lit a torch.

"Okay, here's the plan." Sharp said, adding an air of authority to his voice, "We run, and then we pray we find something to protect us."

Penn winced at the sounds, "You know I can't repair his body, right?"

"I FEEL LIKE WE SHOULD RUN MAYBE . . . "

Yeah, as Eddie said it can move really fast. I guarantee you though that most of it is just character movement and interaction, which you don't really need to know about in detail--this is coming from someone who used to jump in after the first few days for every new HG. What you missed won't really matter in the long run, don't worry!!

Sharp hands Krin the dice. "When the storm comes, try okay?"

"Hey! Wanna join us? We'll be protected from the storm here," Sharp offered, missing the point of his rock throwing. "KRIN, NO." Sharp pulls out the ruby dice. "Can you fill these with stormlight?"
