  1. I think it's amazing how much indie games have skyrocketed in quality in the last ~decade. That's not to say that older indie games are bad. Rather, we're seeing indie games not necessarily explode onto the market, but the ones getting a lot of attention are consistently of very high quality.

      There's a story based game called Opus: Echo of Starsong that's awesome. It has an amazing set of characters, intricate worldbuilding, and a story that gets you emotionally invested and then makes you cry.
