    "Because we never truly got rid of them. I'd bet that it's the descendants or its the same scumbags running the place, at least in the background. The same people still hold the power, is what's truly happening, behind the scenes of all of the fanfare about the games."

    Maj sees it, but doesn't react, instead simply kicking the oar that Casper had raised to block him into Casper. (If your holding it out in front of you kinda like a sword, I do a similar thing by swatting it with my machete.) Murr is floating on a small raft in the water, Maj and Casper are fighting on the beach. @The Aspiring Archivist @SpiritOfWrath

    Maj twists to the side, Berin's machete clipping his shoulder. As it does, he uses the momentum to slam his elbow into Berin's already injured side.

    Maj, instead of backing away, uses the momentum from getting yanked forward to lunge straight towards Berin's chest with his machete.

    Mark smiles as Maj mentions him. "I mean, I didn't tell him to murder someone who didn't listen, but, I'm glad he's at least thinking about the thigns I taught him."

    Maj lifts his fishing pole (Which no longer has line on it) and swings it hard at Berin, keeping his machete in his other hand, trying to get Berin away.) "You, my dear friend, have done something very stupid. Because, you see..." Maj grins. "My teacher was an Edgedancer. And. You. Didn't. LISTEN." Maj leaps forwards, machete and fishing pole swinging hard towards the already wounded Berin.

    The soldiers scoff and walk away, but one hangs back. "Here's a canteen, son. They don't like you festival folk, but yer not half bad. just stay out of their way when the fightin' starts." He hands you a canteen of water.

    Maj lurches backwards away from the fight warily, readying his machete to strike if an opportunity presents itself, and ready to parry if needed.

    He passes troupes of soldiers from the keep you are in.

    "Speaking of that, do you know any good doctors? I think Adris' leg might need some more help. Something with it doesn't seem quite right, and it was too long ago for me to heal."

    Mark gasps as Maj leaps to attack Berin. "An honorable move, getting rid of the one who betrayed their teammate, but... Why did Maj do that? I'm so confused."

    As Berin drowns Casper, Maj leaps from behind, calling to Bird for strength, swinging the machete with all of his might. @SpiritOfWrath
