@The Sibling and I made a mini tarachin game. It’s paper and marker and the spheres we used nerf balls. We used these little pieces of paper to mark where a sphere was thrown, as we only had four nerf balls.

Would someone be fine if we did the first scene without them just to get this started? Waiting for everyone could take a while. Where do you see backstory on DNDbeyond? I can't find it.

Ok Dndbeyond is fine and super easy to use. Also, fadran, if ye want to join you don't have to use dndbeyond. you could also use paper.

Cool. you notice a strange tiefling off to the side drinking, three dwarves having a drinking contest, some waiters bringing out food, and about six or seven humans chatting at the bar. Tieflings, in case you didn't know, are demon-people. this one has pure golden eyes and two twisting horns, along with a long snakelike tail.

Ok cool. Thx. The town has only the one avern and really nowhere else to stay. Is everyone at the tavern?

You don't really need to read it, only need to know that's he's an enemy of baphomet and is in the destroyed scholars guild.

I don't have access to the character sheet. This is a tiefling at the tavern, the main NPC: I was born at a young age, cast away from parents who didn't want a tiefling child. I went to the scholar's guild, broke and hungry, who paid me in return to giving them information on tieflings and demons, also improving their infernal speech. I made fast friends with Ifilat, Another tiefling, a guard of the guildhouse in the capital. We studied demons and devils together many a time. I made an enemy of Baphomet in my studies. A scholar, his name escapes me, summoned a demon to ask it a question. That demons happened to be a balor, one of baphomet's servants who was on an urgent mission, and was disrupted. The other scholars were killed, and Me, Ifilat, and seldom few others of the guild of three hundred escaped the wrath of the Balor. After that, I ran away from the capital, finding myself In an un-named little group of houses by a river, staying with them and finding ancient texts buried deep beneath the ground. Those texts hold the incantations to grant boons and features to different classes, of varying strength, A spell known as Improve upon skills I was hunted down by " Archeologists" who wanted the texts to sell to a collector. I ran from that unnamed village, hiding out in the bush for several years. I befriended many animals, most notably my familiar "Hoothydi" a snowy owl. I then went out, searching for remnants of the long-gone scholar's guild, But baphomet got to them first. I found three of them, dead, and hunted down the imp that did it, leading royal soldiers to the imp, who had called upon four of it's kind. Two royal soldiers died facing the group of demons, and upon one of them I found my elmwood bow, Crimson. I ran from there, hiding for another month, sneaking around imps, with three royal soldiers, Aki, Eresa, and Tirar. From there, we split ways after no demons came after me for a year, and I wandered until I found myself in the tavern In Shinim.

Yay!!! Also sorry I said every 9 posts stuff would be poster but this all happened whilst I Was outside. Extra interesting tidbits: Shinim, the village you are staying at, is named after Shinyum, a tale of a ghost haunting a bandit camp, and annoying them and making them promise to stop raiding and looting. The ghost's name was Shinyum, pronounced Shin-ee-yum The bandits were the grand raider's guild, who were abolished around the time when the tale takes place. Edit : Shav'likor, the country, is fairly circular( as countries go,) and Shinim is on the eastern coast. Shinim sadly doesn't have a port tho. The capital is vaguely in the center but a bit south, and borders a lake that is the center. Has anyone made a character sheet yet? I can't wait! I'm so exited!

Just use DNDbeyond to make a character sheet. It's very helpful and explains most of it as you do it. Maybe If you don't know the compicated rules, don't be a full magician, because their stuff gets complex and weird. I cna alos help you make a backstory if ye need it.

Oh, cool! Anyways, for an intersting bit of starting lore, This is the land of Shav'likor. Ruled over by king Ilit, and Queen Nafit, Tehy keep a steady hold on the country without any rumblings of rebelllion and are renowned as kind and just. This campaign takes place is Shinim,a small countryside village famed for it's large swaths of pastures with cows and bison. The town has a small tavern known as the Little bear, with an inn that barely charges money. The Country uses standard gold copper silver and electrum, with the rare platinum. Shinim is also famous in the adventurers world for once having had several dissapearances, most notably Erikk Danvel, the Mayor. Along with him, Inva Danvel, his duaghter who often frequented the tavern and Erif Davel, his son who worked the field often and was popular among the farmers. Every 9 posts you will learn stuff.
