I wish I could throw a masquerade ball, or a murder mystery roleplay type thing, or even just invite two or three friends to get a drink with me (soda. I’m underage and lds, guys.)

It’s a silly thing to be feeling so bugged over

but I am

we’re almost a month into summer now, and…I miss humans.

i need people.

I’m a blue, a ENFP-T, a two.

people make me who I am.

why, then, am I terrified anytime someone even asks if I’m open? And why am I so scared to ask anyone myself?

I don’t want presents or treats or memories or family.

i want to be around people who want to be around me. I want to laugh and cry and be safe in the arms of the people who promise to help battle all my demons. 

I want to throw a scudding party without being terrified that no one will come or that I’ll be embarrassed. I want to sit around a fire and talk, and I want it to be just one of many such occasions. 

I’m tired of being lonely.

and I’m tired of being too scared to do anything about it.

ah, well. I survived another year, despite a whole lot of moments when I thought I wouldn’t.

And I can recognize the good, even if the bad is so much more plain, and seems to taint everything it touches.

but I’m ok

and I’ll be ok

and uh…sorry idk why I even wrote this lol, hope y’all are doing good and that this next week brings more laughter than it does tears.

heading out to florida for the trip of a lifetime on friday!

super excited; won’t be very active during that time, but i’ll post updates and maybe some pictures along the way!

we’re spending three days at disney, one at universal, one at the beach, and one at hollywood studios

also i drew @shortcake this morning using a photo from her most recent status update 

i couldn’t get her eyes right because this stupid pencil is too soft and dull, but i can’t find a sharpener and all my mechanical ones are out of lead also i just woke up

but yep i think it still looks pretty decent!

now to get ready and keep packing  

i finished recording for RUNAWAY

tbh it’s not all that good because i kept going sharp in some spots towards the end (and flat) but i did several takes and stitched them all together then put some reverb on it lol so

it’s not terrible by any means but it’s far from perfect

This is the end.

I had a post written up, I had it down and was going to post it.I knew what I was going to say. It was short, sweet and did what it needed to do.

It said goodbye.

Yet... it feels insignificant. It feels wrong. It wasn't as meaningful as my goodbye needs to be.

While I will be coming back on every now and again to say hi or to post something on a thread I like, maybe look at some status updates to see how people are doing, it will never be the same. For one thing, I have ended my characters in Insanity Clinic and TLT (oh boy, the TLT one was rushed.)

I love all of you. There's nothing short of that. I don't know how much I can pontificate off that without coming off the wrong way. I love all of you. Each and every one of you, no matter how much I have disagreed with some of you at times. Y'all are amazing.

I am going to miss this old place.

Before I leave, I want to tell you something. You need to remember this. If you don't, then the evil penguins will haunt your dreams repeating it till you do.

My first Shardiversary.

Its hard to believe this is my first…

I feel like I’ve known each of you for my entire life. And because of that, I will be tagging every single person on my follow list and maybe a few more because I value each of you personally. But first let me start off by saying a few things about myself.

Hi. My name is Panda. Some of you may know me as Madam President/Shardsock/Chuck wrangler/that-one-crazy-person/etc. but no matter my name there is so much to me. 
 

Part of the thing I love about the shard is its open and loving community, and because of that community I have found out a lot about myself, gotten advice, made some amazing friends, and spent my time smiling more than frowning. This year has been an absolute roller coaster. My dog died this year, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, I nearly lost my friendship with several of my closest friends, my relationship with my parents is broken, and I had to go the ER to get stitches because I cut my wrist open in an act of self harm…. And that’s just a few things.

And if I just focused on that I would be miserable.

But I’m not. 
 

because there is also:

The founding of the Hunger Games

The introduction to the shard

the meeting of one of my closest friends here

the late night talks with so many of you 

the comfort through all the pain

the joy during the boring school days

and so so so much more.

The shard has brought me light in ways I don’t even know.

I think I mentioned that I was going to a pottery painting place today

So this is what I made, it’ll look better once they put the glaze on it and cook it, which’ll change the color a ton, but I’m actually so proud of it, I’m not an artist and I have terrible handwriting so I think it turned out awesome!!

To those who aren’t familiar with Hadestown, those are quotes and song lyrics all around it, and the thing in the middle is the rose that Orpheus gives Eurydice and is like a huge symbol throughout the show.
