Jinx spared hardly a glance for her surroundings, still trying to grapple Melody to the ground.

Jinx launched herself at Melody, trying to bite her again.

"No... that's... that's not right either!" She seemed upset and confused.

Jinx glared at her.

"I can't help it, when you start to talk like that!" She clung to him, crying.

Jinx growled at her and went back to crouching by the wall.

"No, you scare me when you act like you don't care about anything! When you don't seem to care about us." Rex was in tears. "That's when I'm afraid of being left. That terrifies me!"
