"I can try." She whispered.

She nods.

Stick looks at her.

Stick squeezes back.

"Okay." Stick whispers. @TheRavenHasLanded

Rex nods, and her breathing eventually returns to normal. She takes deep breathes, letting her body go limp again. @Lightweaver2

Stick doesn't look at him.

"I don't know what I want." She hides her face in her arms, wincing.

"Trying." She grabs his hand in her good one, squeezing it, concentrating on getting her breath back.

She obeys, and feels her lungs loosen slightly.

"I... I..." She stutters, eyes darting around to look at everyone at once.

Stick says nothing, only looking down.

Rex settles her eyes on his face, and gasps in a half-breath. @Lightweaver2

She shook her head, eyes wild. "Can't-"

She shuddered, and moved closer to him, trying to find her feeling of safety, but it was nowhere to be found. Rex tried to keep her breathing even, but her lungs constricted, and she couldn't help but gasp, trying to get enough air.

"Oh..." She forced herself to go limp, even though it was the last thing she wanted to do, and her heart was racing.

"I'll try... you are here, so that will help... maybe." She unconsciously tightened her muscles, becoming stiff, and unrelaxed.

Stick hugs @Part Of The Narrative, then @SmilingPanda19, then holds a hand from each.

"Yes, I'm much better, thank you."

Rex looked at him for a moment, then kissed him.

She smiled, letting herself relax in his arms again. "Thank you."

"I guess that's true..."
