Rex stepped out the door, rather unsteady on her feet and saw them. @Lightweaver2 @The Aspiring Archivist

Rex stirred, opening her eyes. Daniel was nowhere in sight. She could almost feel his arms around her.... Rex shook herself, determined not to fall back asleep. She sat up, then stood up, looking around.

Rex felt herself drifting off to sleep, but she was too tired to stop herself. She fell asleep. @Lightweaver2

"I love you." Rex whispered, shutting her eyes before the tears overflowed.

She leaned into his chest. "Thank you." She said softly, tears coming to her eyes.

"Well, I'm supposed to stay, but, I'm not sure if this is the room they want me in right now... and, we need to make sure you can stay with me." Rex said, a slight smile touching her lips.

Rex leaned against him. "Where did the doctor go?" She asked.

Rex nodded slowly, still trying to grasp the fact that someone wanted her. "I want to be with you too." She whispered.

"You'd be dead." She said shortly. "I'd be to."

"How is this helping!" Rex exclaimed, pointing to her wounded hand.

"I just... Wouldn't you be happier with someone else? Someone who can support you? Give you what you need? My... My problems are keeping you from getting what you need, I think..." Rex said, looking at her hand, holding his.

Rex smiled at him, but there was a note of sadness in her eyes. "Ok."

Hmmm... I want to learn how to tie my shoes (I still don't know how, please save me lol)

"So... I guess I'm here for a few days then. Where are you gonna be?"

"So... recovery is a few days...?"

"I'm not sure." She said honestly.

"Alright." Rex was silent.

Rex was silent for a moment. "Why?" She finally asked

"Can we call the doctor back and just see what would happen...?" Rex asked slowly.

"We are not talking about me right now. We are talking about you." She said.
