She glanced at him. "It's what I would do, if I was you." She whispered.

"I'd love to be your friend!" Echo says, "Will you come with me? Or stay here?"

Rex felt a tightening in her chest. Don't show... "Um..." She looked away, feeling on the edge of panic. "You... you can leave if you want..." she forced out.

"We need to find some help..."

"Sure... would you... would you like to be my friend?" She asked, picking up the water bottle.

She smiled back, completely relaxed.

"I don't want to be mean, but... without it... I might die..." She outstretched her crippled hand. "Please? Just for the games?"

"It's real..." She thought for a moment. "I don't think a book could capture how much I love you..."

She smiled at him, opening her eyes. "I agree... much better."

"I love you..." She whispered.

"Reading is nice... what kind of books?"

"What about you? Do you have any hobbies?"

"Oh... I'm sorry..." She crouches to the same level as the creature. "It's a very nice water bottle... can I borrow it maybe?"

"If you say so..."

Echo jumps, staring at the ooze. "I... uh... please?" She stutters as she tries to take it- more gently this time.

Echo runs forward and grabs a bow, 7 arrows, and a small water bottle.

"Well, I've always loved animals... and... I can draw sometimes- but it's not very good." She said quickly.

"The book, was apart of a very popular series that she had never read previously. You may have heard of it, Your Honor... it's called Harry Potter..."

" @Part Of The Narrative skipped an ENTIRE BOOK AND 24 CHAPTERS just to read a scene with her favorite character crying in the bathroom!" She declared.

She takes a moment to collect herself. "I have a grievance against @Part Of The Narrative!!!"
