Sart he/him
Just now, Droughtbringer said: Ah. Fair enough. So that means that we have to take at Xino if we want a chance at winning the game, as he has at least one kill. But to successfully do that, gives at least one person a kill. @Sart if multiple people attack someone at once, who gets the kill credit? All people who attack a person the round that they die. Making a person lose an extra life does not count as a kill. In your GM PM, I have said "You have eliminated" or "You have killed" your target to mark your kills. If your attack fails for whatever reason, I will respond that your target remains standing. To clarify the matter. I will be sending the remaining players the number of people they have eliminated. Droughtbringer
So if someone uses a line of forbidence, and blocks one attack, does that stop one person from getting a point, or as long as they drop they get the kill?
Sart he/him
The latter. As long as they drop, everyone gets the kill.
A Joe in the Bush
So we could all attack Xino. That would be at least 3 attacks, against a maximum of 2 protects (taylor and Forbiddance) so he would die, but he would also get a free kill against a player of his choice. I will flip a coin to decide if i want to attack him or if i want to defend. I recomend every do the same.

A Joe in the Bush
Well, if you are inclined to believe Xino, just defend yourself. We can do that and see what happens. Theoretically, if at least 3 of us are defending constantly, we shouldn't die unless one of us took the Ballantanoan defense.

Sart he/him
Ron, it looks like we've got a stalemate on our hands. With only four players left, it's tough to get a solid hit on anyone.Don't be so hasty Tom. If you look at Tahrie's circle, you can see that a weak spot has developed. You're right! And if someone takes advantage of that, she's out. Tahrie is trying to draw chalklings, but oh! Just like that, Tahrie goes down.I'm not sure who sent that Line out, but they have got to be feeling good about themselves. And with that, we're down to three. This round ends on Thursday, January 17th at 4:00PM EST. Good luck. A Joe in the Bush
Either Elandera attacked someone who defended their self, and was attacked and died, or a ballentein player attacked and killed her. I attacked Xino. If he was the Ballantein player who killed Elandera, he should be dead. There are three possibilities that i can see 1 You are ballantein and killed Elandera. Xino defended. You have denied this. 2 xino is Taylor. He attacked Elandera, and elandera attacked him. (Or you.) 3 Xino and You both attacked Elandera. Assuming i am not lying, can you provide me with a 4th alternative?
Droughtbringer
Yes. Elendera is some, non Taylor defense, and was summoning a Chalking swarm to hinder someone for next round, and Xino attacked Elandera getting the kill. Edit: And Xino is probably Taylor Edited January 16, 2019 by Droughtbringer

Sart he/him
Ron, there's only three Rithmatists left, and I think Rogiv is feeling the pressure. He was doing so well taking out, but his reactions have seemed sluggish lately. And it doesn't take much to end your chances here. A Line of Vigor has broken through his circle. He's out!Only two competitors remain. Will it be Joseph Watson taking home the cup, or will it be Matist Rist? There's only one way to find out. Let's see how our finalists play this out. This round will end on Friday, January 18th at 4:00PM EST. As a reminder, Round 9 will be the last round. If a winner is not decided by that point, the living player with the most kills is the winner. Good luck to both of you. A Joe in the Bush
Well, i'm surprised to still be alive. So i suppose Elandera used making on Xino when she died, so you took a risk and killed him? What are your intentions now?
Droughtbringer
I mean, I've picked up a kill, and I do not believe that you have one? So I'm fine to just defend every round. Or probably attack you every round to make sure you don't Chalking swarm me and then get a hit off.

Sart he/him
Neither competitor is giving any ground.Tom, at this point in the game, strategy reigns supreme. Who will successfully read their opponent? Both players are up to the task, but only one will take home the crown. This round, and the game, will end on January 19th, at 4:00PM EST.
